I’m Pleased to Meet You

Monica J. Mullen

Monica has been following the sound all of her life through listening to music, nature, dancing and dabbling lightly with the ukulele. It wasn’t until after striking her first singing bowl in Dec of 2019 that she felt a calling.  She has been magnetized to following the sound like a current, like riding a magic carpet upon the waves.

Monica has completed numerous trainings with very skilled teachers over the years, such as sound luminaries Alexandre Tannous, David Shemesh, Mitch Nur, Guy Beider, Mike Tamburo, Michael Bettine, and Thomas Orr Anderson. Transitioning to a full time sound practitioner in October of 2021, she is now the Assistant Director, Continuing Education Coordinator and Senior Adjunct Teacher at the School of Harmonic Therapy in Lancaster, Pa, led by Lana Ryder.  In addition, she offers private and group sessions, as well as facilitating retreats regularly.

Monica considers herself as a Disciple of Vibration, learning to tune herself as the Instrument of Consciousness that we all are and honing her skills to develop awareness of subtleties and nuance.

Beyond continuously studying sound, she has expanded her studies into the realm of Vibrational Radiesthesia, BioGeometry, and Spirit Science through the Vesica Institute.

Her passions include nurturing spiritual development, empowerment and meditative practices so we can hone our skills, gifts and talents as Vibrational Architects to Construct the Kingdom of Love, using sound as the path to draw people close and listen, connect and tune.

Inspired by the various elements that can be interwoven with sound therapy, she began developing her own intuitive sound sessions individualized for the receiver(s) of the sound to connect deeply to the experience. Monica also infuses other energy modalities like Quantum touch and vibrational Radiesthesia into her private and group sound sessions. Her passion for spiritual growth fuels her passion to continue learning, practicing, developing new techniques and acquiring instruments for a unique sensory experience, and to deepen the awareness of the listeners in ways applicable to life.  In addition to offering private and group sessions for the community and corporate events, she teaches classes on meditation techniques or other training exercises to help the development of spiritual growth.

In addition to finding joy in sound therapy, Monica delights in being immersed in nature, cathedrals & museums, as well as delving in deep conversations, creating art in various forms and studying esoteric topics that inspire love and evoke the feeling of awe. She loves wandering the charming streets of Lancaster and inspiring others to practice finding joy and finding their center.
